Greetings Poly Family,

Welcome to our PTSA website!  We are excited to have a place to share our information with the rest of the Poly community. Please take the time to look through our site and familiarize yourself with the different programs and activities that we support. We also have a facebook page for those of you who prefer to get your info through social media. Our facebook address is:

I would like to also welcome you to get involved!  Whether that may be with PTSA, a booster club, or any of the other multiple opportunities to volunteer - get involved! Student success has been directly linked to parent involvement.

Our values at PTA/PTSA are simple.

We value:

Collaboration: We work in partnership with a wide array of individuals and organizations to accomplish our agreed-upon goals.

Commitment: We are dedicated to promoting children’s health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement.

Accountability: We acknowledge our obligations. We deliver on our promises.

Respect: We value our colleagues and ourselves. We expect the same high quality of effort and thought from ourselves as we do from others.

Inclusivity: We invite the stranger and welcome the newcomer. We value and seek input from as wide a spectrum of viewpoints and experiences as possible.

Integrity: We act consistently with our beliefs. When we err, we acknowledge the mistake and seek to make amends.

My mission this year as president, is to improve the communication between the parents, students, teachers and administration.  An informed community is a stronger one.  We will work together with the administration to send out regular communications to the Poly community, informing it of events happening at the school, be it sports, visual and performing arts, facility/construction updates and other news.  Although there are many different platforms for receiving information these days, we want to work with the administration to improve the Poly High School website so that there is a central location for everyone to get their information.  You may have taken a look at the new website and be discouraged, but I see it as a personal challenge to hold our administration responsible for keeping it up to date and sharing information with the Poly community.  Finally, if you see something that can be improved, let the Poly PTSA know via email at and we will communicate your concerns to the administration.  Your voice matters at Poly!

Thank you for your continued support of our kids and school!

2017-2018 PTSA President
